The McGowan Legacy
The McGowan Legacy is a 37-minute documentary by Louise Abbott that traces the colourful history of a one-time fishing lodge on Lake Memphremagog from its opening in 1886 to its demolition in 2020 and replacement by a new building in 2021. It features cello music performed and composed by Erich Kory.
The film was screened at the Auberge McGowan in Georgeville on Saturday, May 14, and Sunday, May 15, 2022. It is now available online.
